TJ has had his films selected to be played at All American High School Film Festival three years in a row (2015-2017). The film festival takes place in the busiest movie theater in America, AMC Theaters in Times Square. During 2017's festival, "Paradise" was a finalist for the Best Cinematography category.

TJ's short film "The Lens" won second place in Palm Beach International Film Festival Student Showcase of Films in 2017.
